Driving through Quito on the weekends
You see folks everywhere on the streets with their bottles of beer and plastic cups. (Ecuadorians don’t drink straight out of the bottle. They use small plastic cups) They spend their entire day (or weekend) just sitting there drinking, reminiscing and getting wasted. It’s part of the culture here and part of the Latin American charm. But make no mistake.. Men of purpose don’t drink. That’s right. You have a purpose, my friend. Everybody does. Every one of you reading this has a purpose. You’re being called. But you refuse to pick up the phone. “For many are called but few are chosen.” – Matthew 22:14 I answered my call. To become a leader. To make people strong and capable. To make them the very BEST they can be. So no. You have no excuse. You have a purpose in this life. You have a calling. And when you’re following that purpose You will be an outcast. You will be on your own path. Now, does that mean you can never touch alcohol again? No. A couple drinks a week is fine, if you can handle it. I do enjoy a beer or a gin tonic 1-2 times a week. But I don’t get drunk. I don’t need that. I got things to do. It’s a pathetic trait for a grown man to get drunk. What’s there to celebrate? What are you guys celebrating all the time? I don’t see you winning. I don’t see you ripped, rich and valuable. What are you trying to cover up boozing? What are you trying to run away from? I don’t play that game. I gotta be up early the next morning to change the world. Join me. Enter M.E.A.N. and become the man you are called to be. RIPPED, STRONG, UNDENIABLE Reply for details. See you on the other side. V |
